Medium
Medium modules allow you to watch, and list publications and create posts in your Medium account.
Getting Started with Medium
Prerequisites
- A Medium account
- Client ID and Client secret (on request only)
In order to use Medium with Integromat, it is necessary to have a Medium account. If you do not have one, you can use your Google, Facebook, Apple, Twitter, or create a Medium account at medium.com/m/signin.
Connecting Medium to Integromat
To connect your Medium account to Integromat you need to obtain the Client ID and Client Secret from your Medium account and insert it in the Create a connection dialog in the Integromat module.

1. Send a request for the client ID and client secret to yourfriends@medium.com.
2. When your request is approved the client ID and client secret will be available on your Medium settings page.
- A profile name
- A bio
- An avatar
- Two samples of your writing published to Medium
3. Login to your Medium account.
4. Click your Profile Icon > Account Settings > Developers > Manage Applications > New Application.
Name | Enter a name for the application. |
Description | Enter the details of the application. |
Callback URL | Enter the callback URL as https://www.integromat.com/oauth/cb/medium

5. Click Save and copy the Client ID and Client Secret to your clipboard.
6. Go to Integromat and open the Medium module's Create a connection dialog.
7. In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.
8. In the Client ID and Client Secret field, enter the client ID and client secret copied in step 5. Click Continue.
The connection has been established.

Create Post
Creates a new post.

Title | Enter a title for the post. |
Content Format |
Select the post content format:

Content | Enter the post content in a valid semantic HTML fragment or markdown. |
Tags | Add the tags to filter the post when searching. |
Canonical URL | Enter the original URL address of the post if it published elsewhere. |
Publish Status | Select the status of the post:

License | Select the license option applicable for the post. |
Notify followers | Select whether you want to notify the followers about the post:

Create Publication Post
Creates a new post under a publication.
Connection | Establish a connection to your Medium account. |
Publication ID | Select the Publication ID under which you want to create a post. |
Title | Enter a title for the post. |
Content Format | Select the post content format:
