Nextcloud

The Nextcloud modules allow you to monitor, create, update, send, retrieve, move, copy, download, and delete the files in your Nextcloud account.

Getting Started with Nextcloud

Prerequisites

The module dialog fields that are displayed in bold (in the Integromat scenario, not in this documentation article) are mandatory!

Connecting Nextcloud to Integromat

1. Go to the Integromat and open the Nextcloud's Create a connection module.

2. In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.

3. In the Domain URL field, enter your Nextcloud account's URL address. For example, if your account access URL address is https://us.cloudamo.com/user, then your domain URL is https://us.cloudamo.com.

4. In the Username and Password fields, enter your Nextcloud account credentials respectively and click Continue.

The connection has been established.

File/Folder

Watch Files

Triggers when a file is created and updated.

ConnectionEstablish a connection to your Nextcloud account.
LocationSelect or map the location of the folder whose files you want to watch.
LimitSet the maximum number of files Integromat should return during one execution cycle.

List Files/Folders

Retrieves a list of files and folders.

ConnectionEstablish a connection to your Nextcloud account.
LocationSelect or map the location of the folder whose files you want to list.
LimitSet the maximum number of files Integromat should return during one execution cycle.

Download a File

Downloads a file.

ConnectionEstablish a connection to your Nextcloud account.
LocationSelect or map the path of the file you want to download. For example, /abc/xyz.txt.

Upload a File

Retrieves a list of files and folders.

ConnectionEstablish a connection to your Nextcloud account.
File NameEnter (map) the file name with extension.
DataEnter (map) the file data.
LocationSelect or map the path to the file you want to upload. For example, /abc/xy.txt.

Create a Folder

Creates a new folder.

ConnectionEstablish a connection to your Nextcloud account.
Folder NameEnter (map) a name for the folder.
LocationSelect the location or map the path for creating the folder.

Move a File/Folder

Moves a file or folder.

ConnectionEstablish a connection to your Nextcloud account.
Select a MethodSelect or map the option you want to move:
  • Move a File
  • Move a Folder
File PathSelect a location or enter the path of the file which you want to move.
Folder PathSelect a location or enter the path of the folder which you want to move.
DestinationSelect a location or enter the path to where you want to move the file or the folder.
Overwrite an Existing File/FolderSelect the checkbox if you want to overwrite the existing file or folder.

Copy a File/Folder

Copies a file or folder.

ConnectionEstablish a connection to your Nextcloud account.
Select a MethodSelect or map the option you want to move:
  • Copy a File
  • Copy a Folder
File PathSelect a location or enter the path of the file or folder which you want to copy.
DestinationSelect a location or enter the path of the folder or file to where you want to copy.
Overwrite an Existing File/Folder
Select the checkbox if you want to overwrite the existing file or folder.

Delete a File/Folder

Deletes a file or folder.

Copies a file or folder.

Select a MethodSelect or map the option you want to move:
  • Delete a File
  • Delete a Folder
File PathSelect a location or enter the path of the file or folder which you want to delete.

Other

Make an API Call

Performs an arbitrary authorized API call.

ConnectionEstablish a connection to your Nextcloud account.
URL

Enter a path relative to your Server URL address. For example, remote.php/dav/files/[username].

For the list of available endpoints, refer to the Nextcloud API Documentation.

Method

Select the HTTP method you want to use:

GET
to retrieve information for an entry.

POST
to create a new entry.

PUT
to update/replace an existing entry.

PATCH
to make a partial entry update.

DELETE
to delete an entry.

PROPFIND
to retrieve properties defined on the resource

MOVE
to move the specified resource.

COPY
to copy the specified resource.

MKCOL
to create a new resource at the specified location.

HeadersEnter the desired request headers. You don't have to add authorization headers; we already did that for you.
Query StringEnter the request query string.
BodyEnter the body content for your API call.

Example of Use - List Files

The following API call returns all the files from your Nextcloud account:
